Rising above Penang

The Straits Regency, an elegantly designed condominium tower rising on the coastal front of Tanjung Bungah, Penang, is another high-rise building for which MAA is the consulting engineer responsible for the design and construction supervision of the foundation, structure, internal plumbing and sanitary and associated ancillary works for the building. The building consists of one block of 24-storey RC structure with a 3-storey basement carpark supported on caisson foundation socketed into the granitic bedrock formation. There are 104 apartment units with recreational and community facilities.
