Connecting Thailand, Laos and China

MAA performed detailed design, tender preparation and construction supervision services for the construction of National Route 3 between Houay Xai and Boten in Laos. This 228 km road improves the connection between isolated Laotian provinces, Yunnan Province in China and Chiang Mai in Thailand and is divided into three construction packages:

1. Thai Funded Houay Xai – Ban Sod Section (84 km)
2. Asian Development Bank Funded Ban Sod – Loung Nam Tha Section (76.8 km)
3. Chinese Funded Loung Nam Tha – Boten Section (67.5 km)
