Transportation Engineering

 

MAA offers a wide variety of services for passenger and freight transportation through ground, air, and water. With an extensive list of projects including roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, HSR, MRT, conventional rail, airports, and harbors, MAA has worked with clients in the private and public sector to meet their needs. From complex intermodal transportation hubs, to networks of viaducts and urban streets, MAA has the experience to plan, design, provide engineering consultation, and project and construction management and supervision for these projects.

 

 

In addition to traditional transportation engineering services, MAA is also experienced in transit-oriented developments (TOD), developing urban plans around transportation hubs. With many successful TOD projects to date including station and development projects for Taiwan’s core IT Business Park in Hsinchu, as well as the more recent Changhua HSR Station and its surrounding area. MAA is also capable of providing BIM integration services for stations, achieving the BIM Autodesk Award (2015) for the Changhua Station project. Other notable works include planning, designing of Asia’s sixth busiest international airport, Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport and many of its facilities, to designing the largest infrastructure BOT project in the world at the time of its inception, Taiwan’s High Speed Rail
