With two A class consultancy and design licenses for architecture and pharmaceuticals in Taiwan and China, MAA uses innovative solutions to meet stringent ventilation specifications as well as provide effective improvements to existing facilities.
With many hospitals completed across Taiwan, Thailand, Mainland China and Singapore, MAA is able to provide services including feasibility, planning, design, BIM integration and project management. Access to key medical operators in Taiwan allows MAA to develop comprehensive solutions for high quality, well designed and well managed hospitals. MAA has experience with outpatient departments, cancer and clinical research facilities, emergency and critical care facilities, etc.
Notable projects include providing geotechnical engineering services for the Novena Hospital at Singapore, which required complex engineering solutions due to the MRT tunnels underneath as well as erratic geological conditions. MAA has also provided BIM design integration and 4D simulations for Taiwan’s National Chiao-Tung University Biomedical building to minimize time scales and prevent construction issues. To reinforce its medical research capabilities, MAA provided project and construction management services to Taiwan’s National Cheng Kung University Hospital for its new building, housing outpatient department, clinical and cancer research facilities.
