Water Infrastructure

All cities require a safe, dependable potable water supply and effective sewage disposal, MAA is experienced in providing feasibility studies, planning, civil, architect, electrical-mechanical design, process design, construction supervision and management, as well as systems design and integration for reuse, drainage, water and wastewater treatment facilities and networks.  Many cities are now facing difficult environmental and public health issues due to aged buried pipes and maintenance facilities, and newer facilities have to incorporate better sustainability and environmental practices.

MAA has provided its extensive services to public and private clients for both turnkey as well as BOT projects, and have undertaken projects ranging from industrial zone wastewater and sewage systems, to large city planning such as in Yilan, Taiwan.

One of MAA’s more notable projects include designing new sewerage systems for Taiwan’s largest fresh water body, the renowned Sun Moon Lake, where a large earthquake severely damaged its former network. MAA also took part in various city developments, including providing engineering planning and construction supervision of water and sewerage systems for Taiwan’s Yilan city development.

MAA’s geotechnical and environmental experts are well known for their ability to work in urban cities, finding effective solutions to efficiently create and renovate water and sewage networks while minimizing public disturbance.
