The green lung of Taipei

Yangmingshan National Park is one of the eight national parks of Taiwan, located in Taipei City and New Taipei City. The park is famous for its cherry blossoms, hot springs, sulfur deposits, fumaroles, venomous snakes and hiking trails, including Taiwan's tallest inactive volcano, the 1,120 m Seven Star Mountain.

Power line EIA

Taipower, the Taiwanese public electricity company, asked MAA to perform a pre-environmental impact assessment for a new 345 kV power line connecting the Kuosheng nuclear plant in Wanli on the northeast Coast of Taiwan to the Guandu power station in order to satisfy the new demand in the districts of Beitou, Shilin, Guandu and Danhai. The new line will have a total length of 31 km and cross the park on a distance of about 10 km, with a total of 32 towers.
