Taiwan’s largest tourism BOT project

Pingtung County in southern Taiwan is actively restructuring and developing its tourism industry in order to strengthen and market the international image of Taiwan and promote local development. The largest tourism BOT project in Taiwan, the Dapeng Bay Scenic Area development covers 257 ha of land and 500 ha of water. The development’s phase II comprises a golf course and its ancillary facilities and strives to provide a high quality, international standard golf course in an open environment and to enhance the overall quality of the local tourism industry. The current development plan was approved by the Tourism Bureau Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration in March 2010.
