From airport to sustainable business park
Shuinan Economic and Trade Park (Taichung Gateway Park) is a major brownfield redevelopment project located on the 250 ha site of Taichung’s former Shuinan Airport. The site will host a business park, university facilities, a convention center, an ecological park with renewable energies and a smart management system and Sou Fujimoto’s future Taiwan Tower, which will constitute a new landmark in the Taichung skyline. MAA is in charge of project management and construction supervision for the whole site as well as feasibility study review and EIA review for the park, and of the environmental impact assessment study for the future Taiwan Tower.
