Construction management for a new educational building

The educational building of the Faculty of Medicine is located on the campus of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. The building is divided into 2 major parts: a 6-story podium featuring a 600 seats lecture hall, and a 20-story tower with laboratories, lecture rooms, instructor rooms, conference halls and office, with a 2-story underground parking garage. M&E systems, storm drainage and landscape work were also included. Total floor area is about 50,000 sqm with facilities for lecture rooms, laboratory and research conference halls and offices.

Scope of work

• Assistance during tendering process in review of tender documents, pre-qualification of contractors, tender evaluation and contract awarding
• Resident construction supervision including quality control, progress control, cost control and safety control
• Contract administration including payment certificate, settlement of claims and disputes, meeting, reporting, document control, etc.
