A modern extension for Sanchung Hospital
The Sanchung Hospital new Emergencies and Critical Care extension was inaugurated in May 2015. New Taipei City has had difficulties meeting the increased volume of patients in recent years, and hence decided an extension was necessary to accomodate more patients. The new building consists of 9 floors with 3 basement levels, covering a total floor area of 24,000 m2 and include 145 sickbeds, 30 emergency room beds, 34 Surgical Intensive Care Units, 15 Respiratory Intensive Care Units, 6 operating rooms, and an international conference hall for up to 300 participants. MAA's PCM and BIM services allowed for controlled scheduling and high quality services, resulting in 3 Awards.
