Measuring pavement bearing capacity for 12 airports in Taiwan
The objective of this project is to understand the pavement bearing capacity and comparability of aircraft types of 12 airports in Taiwan. Airports included in this project are Songshan (Taipei), Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung Intl, Hualien, Taitung, Lanyu, Lyudao, Kinmen, Cimei and Wang-An airports. IEE and MAA formed a joint venture to undertake this project, with MAA responsible for the following works:
- Pavement Destructive Testing-Concrete Strength and Subgrade CBR Testing
- Safety and Quality Control
- GIS
- Project Management
