A 2 m wide, 2.4 km long water main tunnel in Taipei
This project involves the construction of a water main from Xinsheng Park to the Keelung River Levee in the Taipei metropolitan area. The water main is an extension line from a pressurization station in the Guandu line system and includes a 2,000 mm wide, 2400 m long section built with a tunnel boring machine (TBM) and a 1,000 mm wide, 250 m long cut-and-cover section. The TBM has an external diameter of 3,340 mm.
