Taiwan Power Company (TPC) is upgrading the Talin Power Plant in order to increase its operational efficiency and performance. The air quality control equipment will significantly reduce sulphur dioxide (SO2) and particulate emissions, in compliance with environmental regulations in Taiwan. The Talin Power Plant Renewal Project will include BOT projects for the major power generators with power block building and facilities. The newly built generator units 1 and 2 will be starting commercial operation in 2016 and 2017.
