A new Kaohsiung landmark
The Nanzih Yicyun Bridge is a white steel arch bridge that stretches across the Houjin Stream in Kaohsiung’s Zinan District. 85 m long and 24.5 m wide, it connects Lantian Road with Yicyun Road, thus easing the traffic for the Zinan industrial area. With its rare basket bridge-type design, its beautiful shape blends well with the waterfront ecological landscape, making it stand out from the Houjin Stream. The bridge earned the 2009 National Construction Award of Excellence. MAA provided planning, design and construction supervision services for the project.
