Preserving and promoting Hakka culture
The Liudai Hakka Cultural Park was created in order to preserve and represent the living culture of Hakka villages located in 12 counties in the Kaohsiung and Pingtung region. The project, completed in 2011, promotes Hakka culture in the region and in the whole Taiwan and supports local economic development. MAA was project management consultant for the project. The parasol shaped roofs are inspired by the famous Hakka oil-paper umbrellas.
