Connecting the eastern part of the Greater Ho Chi Minh region

The HCMC-LT-DG Expressway Technical Assistance Project is part of the planned North-South Expressway located in the southern major economic area, Ho Chi Minh City, which is the most actively developing area in Vietnam.

 

Project characteristics

The 51 km long expressway starts at Km4+000 at Ring Road 2 Interchange (R.R.2) and ends at Km55+300 at Dau Gia in the north of the city. It consists of three intersections, a viaduct, 12 small or medium bridges and one large bridge (Long Thanh Bridge). The project is funded by ADB and Japan’s JBIC. The detailed engineering design of the project is carried out by Nippon Koei Co. Ltd. MAA joined Nippon Koei to provide detailed geotechnical design for the project.
