A new highway in northeast Bangkok

The project aimed to provide alternative routes to the northeastern part of Bangkok and provide connection with the existing 2nd Stage Expressway and the Bangkok Outer Ring Road. The project comprised a 6 lane elevated expressway with a total length of 9.5 km and span length varying from 20 to 75 m. A total of three interchanges were also built for the project. Other facilities such as drainage system, electrical system, traffic signs and markings, and landscaping at the toll offices were also included in the project.

MAA was responsible for the development of preliminary design and detailed design for the elevated road structure and carriageway pavement. Other provided services include the preparation of technical specifications, tender documents and construction cost estimates.
